NeNe Leakes, the iconic former star of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is reportedly in discussions to make a major return to Bravo.
Sources confirm to Page Six that the OG is “in talks” to appear on the upcoming series “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip,” which is set to begin filming in January 2026. The series, part of Bravo’s popular “Ultimate Girls Trip” franchise, was announced by Andy Cohen at BravoCon 2025.
It will feature fan-favorite Housewives from across different cities and seasons, traveling together and revisiting some of Bravo’s most memorable locations.
“We actually texted a few months ago,” Cohen revealed, hinting that conversations with Leakes have already begun.
Leakes’ return would mark a significant moment for the network, especially considering her original departure from “RHOA” in September 2020.
She later filed a lawsuit in April 2022 against Bravo, NBCUniversal, production companies True Entertainment and Truly Original, and executives, including Cohen.
After months of negotiation, she dismissed the case “without prejudice,” leaving the door open for potential future developments.
Fans are already excited about the possibility of Leakes returning to reality TV. Many expressed that they’ve missed her energy, humor, and iconic reads.
If finalized, NeNe Leakes’ participation in “Ultimate Road Trip” would not only reunite her with the franchise but also add star power and unforgettable moments for fans who have long been waiting to see her back on screen.
She has not spoken publicly about her participation in the series, though she previously stated she would not be returning to “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
