A private-sounding conversation between DeenTheGreat and Blueface suddenly turned serious when Deen appeared to reveal a frightening update about Adrien Broner while the cameras were still rolling.

According to a viral clip circulating from the livestream, Deen apparently did not realize Blueface’s microphone was still live when he said Broner had been rushed to the hospital during the stream after becoming extremely intoxicated. Deen also claimed doctors warned Broner that continuing to drink could eventually cost him his life. The health concern hits differently because the former champion has been unusually open about his relationship with alcohol before.
In a 2023 interview with DAZN Boxing, Broner discussed his struggles with alcohol while attempting to rebuild his boxing career. Around the same period, World Boxing News reported that Broner had started a 30-day cleanse and asked people around him not to offer him drinks because he believed he would accept them. He later declared, “No more liquor and the regular AB back.”
The latest development is also unfolding during what was supposed to be another reset for Broner. In July, Broner had joined DeenTheGreat for a 45-day livestream marathon built partly around getting back into shape. Broner had also been talking publicly about returning to boxing and needing months of training before another serious run in the ring.
His professional comeback has already been a long one. BoxRec records show Broner has not competed professionally since June 2024, when Blair Cobbs defeated him by unanimous decision. The Ring reported that Broner, a former champion across four weight divisions, was knocked down during that fight before losing on all three judges’ scorecards.
Without speculating about Broner’s condition, the medical risk behind excessive drinking is real. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism warns that extremely high blood alcohol levels can cause loss of consciousness and, in severe cases, death.
That makes DeenTheGreat’s apparent hot mic revelation more than another viral moment. For Broner, whose attempts to leave alcohol behind have played out publicly for years, the newest Adrien Broner health claims are putting the focus back on something much bigger than streaming numbers or another comeback fight.
