Beyoncé may have officially secured her spot on the Forbes billionaire list at the close of 2025, but according to her father, Mathew Knowles, her ten-figure net worth is merely a byproduct of her work ethic.
In a recent conversation with Page Six, Knowles opened up about his daughter’s relationship with wealth, asserting that her primary focus has always remained on her craft and her audience.
“I’ve never heard Beyoncé ever talk about money,” Knowles revealed, adding that her internal dialogue is centered on growth. “It’s always been, ‘How can I make my fans happy? How can I be the best at what I’m doing?’”
The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer’s rise to billionaire status follows a historic run of commercial and cultural dominance. Between the massive success of the Renaissance World Tour and the record-breaking Cowboy Carter era, Beyoncé has successfully diversified her empire. Her portfolio now includes profitable ventures like SirDavis whisky and her Cécred hair care line, which pushed her over the finish line to become only the fifth musician to reach the milestone. She now stands alongside an elite group of peers, including Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and her husband, Jay-Z.
Knowles admitted that while he reached out to congratulate her on the official ranking, he doesn’t view the title as part of her identity.
“Her money came with the success, but that has never been a goal of hers. And I love that about her,” he noted. He went on to emphasize that her real motivation is far more personal than a bank statement.
“That’s just not Beyoncé. That’s not who she is,” he reiterated to the outlet. “She’s motivated by being the very best. She’s motivated by making her fans happy and…. giving back to the community as well.”
As we dive deeper into 2026, the global superstar remains focused on the next phase of her career, seemingly unfazed by her new financial bracket.
