In a recorded message dated April 11, Palmer addressed supporters directly from the Gilmer County Detention Center, where he is currently being held on charges connected to aggravated stalking and an alleged violation of a protective order. The case stems from prior claims that Palmer engaged in repeated unwanted contact and harassment, leading to legal protection being granted in favor of Madison.
“Good morning, good afternoon, good evening… I am… coming to you from the Gilmer County Detention Center,” Palmer said in the audio, before thanking supporters “praying for me, donating to me, and working tirelessly to ensure I am released from this hellhole of a jail.”
Palmer went on to describe what he claims are dangerous and abusive conditions inside the facility.
“I was in solitary confinement fighting to live after bleach and other chemicals were mixed in my… cell,” he alleged. He further claimed he was warned by jail officials “to expect racism” and told “they make their own rules because this is a private jail.”
According to Palmer, he has been denied basic rights, including medical care and access to court proceedings.
“I have been denied medical attention, adequate food, and court dates,” he said, also alleging violations of federal protections, including HIPAA. He added, “I have been offered backdoor pleas and told to be silent. I will not be silent anymore.”
The social media personality urged supporters to contact local officials, the NAACP, and other agencies, insisting, “Inmates do have rights… I will never stop fighting for my freedom and my innocence.”
Palmer and Madison’s history has played out publicly online, with escalating tensions leading to legal intervention. While Palmer has built a following through commentary and online persona, Madison remains a prominent media figure and LGBTQ+ advocate, making the case one that continues to draw attention across digital platforms.
Authorities have not publicly confirmed the allegations Palmer made regarding jail conditions. The legal case tied to the protective order violation remains ongoing.
