Dwight Howard is facing public criticism from the mother of his young son. Gospel singer Christine shared a post on Instagram expressing frustration over what she described as a lack of contact between Dwight and their two year old son.
In the post, which she captioned with the hashtag fedup, Christine wrote that she had reached out several times, including with a Father’s Day gift and message, and felt ignored for more than five months. She also said she believes their son should have both parents involved, regardless of circumstances.
According to her page, this was not the first time she had posted on the topic. About three weeks earlier she shared a message about the role fathers play in a child’s life, and she also posted a photo of Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha, calling them her relationship goals.
Dwight did post a photo of himself on FaceTime with his son for the boy’s birthday, per his social media. He had not publicly responded to Christine’s posts at the time of this report.
