The Flamin Lime Cookie is Crumbl’s newest limited flavor, and customers have questions.
The cookie combines cream cheese frosting and spicy cheese crisps as part of a Road Trip themed menu available through August 1. The unusual dessert leads a lineup that turns familiar snack flavors into cookies while giving Crumbl another conversation starter for its constantly changing menu.

According to Crumbl, the official Flamin’ Lime Crunch Cookie starts with a lime sugar cookie rolled in a spicy cheese crisp mixture. The cookie gets a layer of tangy cream cheese frosting, followed by spicy cheese crisp streusel, crunchy cheese crisps and a fresh lime wedge on top. The combination puts sweet citrus, tangy frosting, savory cheese flavor and crunch into one dessert instead of relying on the traditional chocolate, caramel or vanilla profiles commonly associated with cookies.
The cookie is part of a broader Road Trip concept rather than a random spicy experiment. The limited menu draws from flavors associated with convenience store stops and travel snacks, giving the week a clear theme built around familiar candy, drinks and salty treats.
The Flamin‘ Lime Cookie is not the only new flavor getting attention. According to Crumbl’s current store menu, the Wild Cherry Blue Razz Slushy Cookie is also part of the lineup, using a tart lemon cookie with blue raspberry and cherry mousse. The menu also includes Berry Limeade Cookie featuring NERDS Gummy Clusters, Snickers Peanut Butter Cookie, White Drop Cookie featuring Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme, Honey Bun Cookie and S’mores Cookie Thins. Crumbl’s Classic Chocolate Chip, Pink Sugar, Brownie Batter and S’mores offerings are listed alongside the rotating selections.
The unusual combination also fits a strategy Crumbl has been developing for years. According to the company’s official history, cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley founded Crumbl in Logan, Utah, in 2017 after working to develop their chocolate chip cookie recipe. The company says its business later expanded to include additional flavors, catering, delivery and a rotating weekly menu, turning frequent flavor changes into a central part of the Crumbl experience.
That rotating model has given Crumbl room to move well beyond standard bakery flavors. Crumbl says its rotating menu has produced more than 300 flavors, including creations inspired by desserts, breakfast foods and savory flavor combinations. The company says the system allows it to continuously introduce new ideas while bringing older favorites back into rotation.
Crumbl also says new rotating selections become available on Mondays, with the upcoming menu revealed Sunday evening through its social channels and app. That limited availability helps explain why unusual releases such as the Flamin’ Lime Cookie can become instant talking points. Shoppers have a small window to decide whether a spicy cheese covered lime cookie sounds like a must try or a combination better admired from a distance. Crumbl’s guide to its rotating menu confirms that the changing flavors are designed to remain available for only one week before the next selections arrive.
For Crumbl, the Flamin’ Lime Cookie shows exactly how far the brand is willing to stretch the definition of dessert.
