Undefeated boxing star Gervonta Davis is being sought by authorities in South Florida following allegations tied to a domestic violence incident reported last fall.

The Miami Gardens Police Department confirmed Wednesday that an arrest warrant has been issued for Davis on three charges: battery, false imprisonment, and attempted kidnapping. Officials said they are coordinating with U.S. Marshals as they work to take the boxer into custody.

According to police, the incident is alleged to have taken place at a gentlemen’s club in Miami Gardens in October 2025. The woman involved, an employee at the establishment whose name has not been released, reported the incident two days later, on October 29.

In her statement, the woman alleged Davis approached her and “grabbed her by the back of her head, pulling her by the hair with one hand and by her throat with another.” She further claimed he then “forcefully escorted her” down a stairway toward the parking garage while maintaining his grip. Once in the garage, she said Davis released her, allowing her to run toward coworkers for help.

Police stated that a lead detective reviewed surveillance footage that “corroborates key elements of the victim’s statements.”

The warrant follows a civil lawsuit filed by the woman on Halloween related to the same incident. In court documents, she said she and Davis had an intimate relationship for several months before ending it roughly a month prior to the alleged assault.

Davis had been scheduled to face Jake Paul in November 2025, but the bout was later canceled after the allegations surfaced. Davis has not publicly commented on the case.
