If anyone was confused about what happened between #KhloeKardashian and #JamesHarden, you weren’t alone. Khloe is finally giving her take on why things went south with the Houston Baller.
On an episode of Kocktails With Khloe, the reality star says Harden initially begged her to be in a committed relationship with him. “I’ve always said, it’s long distance we don’t need to be monogamous. There’s a lot of sh*t going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston, I live in LA. Like, let’s see each other when we see each other,” Kardashian explained. “What girl says that? Why would you say, ‘Ok, that’s great.’ No, instead forcing a relationship by ‘let’s be committed, let’s be committed.’ He wanted that. I wanted that but I wanted to be realistic. You know what it’s unfair, I’m working so much, you’re in Houston, we don’t need to be committed.”
According to Khloe, after Harden convinced her to be monogamous, he reneged on his half of the deal. “Nope, he sought me out. He wanted to be committed. Then, wasn’t committed. So Koko had to let him go, go,” she stated. “It’s literally everything on a platter. I’m not telling you I’m not going to hang out with you … So I was like great, this guy is in it for the long haul, let’s do it. Found out he wasn’t and I got the receipts to prove it.”
While things didn’t work out between the two, Khloe has recently commented on rekindling flames with her ex Lamar Odom, who found his way back into her life, in what seemed to be the midst of her relationship with Harden, because of a health scare. “Technically I’m still f***ing married! But I do one day, honey, I need to get married again,” Khloe explained of her relationship status. “Listen, at this point, I don’t know what tomorrow is going to bring, I’ve learned that. So even if I remarry the same person again – I don’t know, that’s not where I am right now.”
