Stefon Diggs Asks Judge To Pause Ferrari Lawsuit, Says He Cannot Fully Defend Himself Until Every Alleged Co-Conspirator Is Served

Another Stefon Diggs lawsuit has a new update, and Diggs is asking the court to slow the case down before Nigel King’s explosive claims move any further. According to TMZ, Diggs asked a Florida judge to pause the case because several of the other defendants had not yet been served with the lawsuit.

Diggs argued that he could not properly defend himself or fully address the claims while the other people accused of participating in the alleged conspiracy were absent from the case. King is opposing the request, and TMZ reports that the remaining defendants were eventually served in June.

That means Diggs has officially responded, but the filing described by TMZ appears to focus on how the case should move forward rather than offering a detailed public rebuttal to every allegation King made against him. King, meanwhile, is trying to keep the case moving after accusing Diggs of turning a stolen Ferrari into a damaging accusation that allegedly cost him clients before the drama spilled into the streets.

According to the complaint indexed by Trellis Law, King filed the civil lawsuit in Miami Dade County on February 3, 2026. The filing names Stefon Diggs, his brothers Trevon Diggs and Darez Diggs, Vincent Anthony Franklin, Charlie “Chap” Jordan and unidentified defendants.

The lawsuit begins with King’s former working relationship with the NFL player. King says he worked as a concierge and consultant who managed personal logistics for wealthy clients. His responsibilities for Diggs allegedly included handling travel, vehicles, events and other personal arrangements.

King claims the trouble started after he coordinated the transportation of Diggs’ Ferrari in July 2024. King arranged for the luxury car to be moved from Miami to New York before it was later transported to Houston. King alleges that the Ferrari was stolen in Texas through a sophisticated theft carried out by third parties.

Per TMZ, King says law enforcement never charged him, cited him or identified him as a suspect in the theft. He also claims he continued communicating with Diggs socially and professionally after the Ferrari disappeared, with no obvious indication that Diggs believed he was involved.

King alleges that everything changed in December 2024. King claims Diggs began telling friends that King had stolen the Ferrari. King denies stealing the vehicle and maintains that Diggs knew unrelated people were responsible for taking it.

Those accusations allegedly hit King where it hurt most. King claims his concierge business depended on trust, confidentiality and referrals from wealthy clients. He alleges that being branded a thief caused clients and potential referrals to disappear, damaging his reputation and cutting into his income.

The lawsuit claims the Ferrari accusations were only the beginning. Per King alleges that people connected to Diggs began confronting him at different locations in Houston and Miami. The complaint also claims someone appeared at King’s home demanding the return of gifts that Diggs had previously given him.

Darez allegedly confronted him in Houston in October 2024 over a separate dispute involving the Diggs family. King also claims Charlie “Chap” Jordan confronted him during a business dinner in Miami in March 2025 and threatened to resolve the ongoing situation. King further alleges that Vincent Anthony Franklin came to his home in May 2025 while attempting to recover gifts from him.

The months of alleged pressure eventually led to the most serious accusation in the lawsuit. According to TMZ, King claims he was attacked at Tootsie’s Cabaret in Florida on December 4, 2025. King alleges that one of Diggs’ friends punched him in the face before a larger physical confrontation unfolded.

The complaint claims Charlie “Chap” Jordan delivered the initial punch and that Franklin later became involved in the altercation. King also alleges that Trevon witnessed the incident without stepping in. King says surveillance footage and witness testimony will support his version of what happened inside the club.

King claims the alleged attack left him with serious and lasting injuries. The filing describes a torn ACL, an MCL injury and facial injuries. The complaint also alleges that King suffered a fractured nose, a lip injury that required stitches and dental damage that may require several procedures.

The filing seeks compensation for more than King’s medical treatment. According to the complaint details reported by Black Enterprise, King is seeking damages for lost income, reduced earning capacity, pain, emotional distress and reputational harm. The filing places the value of the dispute above $100,000.

King is also pursuing several different legal theories. The complaint includes claims involving defamation, civil conspiracy, assault and battery, vicarious liability, ratification and aiding and abetting.

King accuses Franklin and Jordan of assault and battery. He is attempting to hold Diggs responsible through claims involving vicarious liability and ratification, while Trevon and Darez are accused of aiding and abetting the alleged attack. King’s defamation claim against Diggs centers on the accusation that he stole the Ferrari.

Diggs’ new response does not end the dispute, but it finally gives the case a clearer direction. According to TMZ, he wants the court to hold off until every accused participant can be involved and the alleged conspiracy can be evaluated as a whole. King does not want the pause, and the reported completion of service could weaken the original reason Diggs gave for delaying the proceedings.

For now, every accusation remains an allegation, and the court has not ruled that Diggs or any of the other defendants committed the acts described by King. What started with a missing Ferrari is now a full civil battle involving lost business, damaged relationships, serious injuries and competing arguments over how quickly the case should move forward.
