NeNe Leakes is keeping everyone guessing about her relationship status after a very public night out in Memphis.
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was seen courtside at the FedExForum on Wednesday night, enjoying a Memphis Grizzlies game with a new man by her side.
NeNe and attorney Arthur Earl Horne III weren’t shy about their connection, with witnesses reporting that the two were very touchy-feely throughout the evening. They were photographed sitting close together, with NeNe holding onto his arm and the pair sharing several kisses and embraces as they watched the game.
While the two appeared completely focused on each other, NeNe hasn’t officially confirmed if they are exclusive or just testing the waters. However, the public appearance was enough to send fans into a frenzy, especially as details about Horne’s past began to circulate.
The Memphis-based attorney has a complicated legal history that includes a high-profile arrest nearly nine years ago. In 2017, Horne faced serious felony charges, including aggravated rape and kidnapping, following an incident involving an ex-girlfriend. The woman alleged she was physically and sexually assaulted, reporting injuries to her face and neck after a domestic dispute.
The case was a major headline in Memphis at the time, eventually leading to a trial where Horne faced the possibility of significant prison time. When the evidence was presented, the jury ultimately acquitted him of the most serious felony counts, including the rape and kidnapping charges. Instead, he was convicted only of a misdemeanor assault charge. That conviction resulted in a sentence of 30 days in jail and about a year of probation, a big difference from the initial life-altering allegations.
For NeNe, this outing is another look into her life as she navigates the dating scene following the loss of her longtime husband, Gregg Leakes, in 2021. Since Gregg’s passing, NeNe has been open about trying to find happiness again, though it hasn’t always been easy. Her previous relationship with fashion businessman Nyonisela Sioh ended in 2023 after it became weighed down by drama involving his estranged wife.
Whether Arthur Horne III is a serious new partner or just a casual date, NeNe clearly isn’t letting the gossip stop her from enjoying her life in the spotlight.
