Nicki Minaj congratulated Stephen Miller on Friday after Trump named him White House chief of staff, and she used the moment to thank Miller and his wife, Katie, for letting her stay in their home.

“Congratulations to the both of you! Thanks again for letting me use your home when you guys were away. I’ll never forget it. EVER,” Nicki wrote on X. “You make a very VERY strong team. All the best to your beautiful family. We’re rooting for you.”
She closed with a line that appeared to be aimed at Trump: “I know you’ll be the best Chief of Staff for my guy.”
Nicki did not say when she stayed at the Millers’ home or where it is. Her post was a reply to a long message Katie Miller shared earlier in the day celebrating her husband’s promotion.
The announcement came from Trump himself on Friday. In a Truth Social post, he wrote that Miller, currently the White House deputy chief of staff and “one of my most trusted advisors,” will become chief of staff starting Monday, November 9. Susie Wiles, who has held the job since the start of Trump’s second term, is moving over to the Trump political operation.
The chief of staff runs the day to day operation of the White House. The position controls who gets access to the president, manages the senior staff and helps decide which issues get attention first. Wiles was the first woman to ever hold the job.
Wiles submitted her resignation Thursday night, and Trump accepted it Friday. Speaking to reporters as he left the White House, Trump said he “wanted to make a change” and that Wiles had done a good job. In her own statement, Wiles called the role “the honor of a lifetime.”
Made to order and shipped to your door.
The shake up comes just days after the midterm elections, when Democrats took control of both the House and the Senate. Three weeks earlier, Trump had publicly said Wiles would be staying “for a long time.”
Miller is one of the most polarizing figures in Trump’s orbit. He served in Trump’s first administration and has been the main architect of the current administration’s immigration crackdown. After the announcement, he said he was “honored beyond words” to take the job.
Katie Miller’s post leaned personal. She wrote that she was at a loss for words over the support her husband had received and said he has stood by Trump for 11 years. She added that the couple met while she was working on immigration at the Department of Homeland Security, and that the Millers now have four children together.
She also had a message for the press. “To the reporters prognosticating about the future and what his appointment means: Stephen loves our country and wants to make it better for our kids and yours,” she wrote. “He means business and is ready to work. The best is yet to come.”
Nicki’s relationship with the Millers has been public for months. She appeared on Katie’s podcast earlier this year, and in May she defended Katie online, calling her “a VERY rare breed.” Nicki’s post on Friday makes it clear the friendship extends beyond the podcast.
Nicki Minaj and Stephen Miller have not commented further on the home stay.
