Actor Jamal Woolard, known as the rapper Gravy and for playing The Notorious B.I.G. in the film Notorious, was arrested over the weekend in Georgia, according to reports.
The 38 year old was reportedly arrested Saturday night in Gwinnett County after a 911 call from someone in the home said he had hit a family member. He was reportedly charged with battery, simple assault and third degree cruelty to children. These are allegations, and Woolard is presumed innocent. We have not seen a public response from him or his representatives.
TMZ also reported at the time of a prior case. In 2008, Woolard was charged in New York with misdemeanor assault, menacing and harassment over an alleged incident involving his wife.
