Baller Alert is stepping into the political arena. Today the company launches PoliAlert, a new political channel and talk show built to deliver sharp, accessible commentary to one of the largest audiences in digital media. The premiere episode streams live today, Friday, June 5, at 4:00 PM ET on Instagram and YouTube.
PoliAlert arrives with a clear promise carried in its tagline, “Nothing is bigger than the truth.” The show is hosted by Kenny Burns, Quentin James, and Nsé Ufot, a lineup that brings together cultural influence, real political strategy, and years of organizing experience on the ground. Every episode breaks down the stories shaping American politics and explains what they actually mean for Black communities and everyday people, delivered with the candor and energy the Baller Alert audience already expects.
The format is built around plain talk rather than Beltway noise. “Politics isn’t just cable panels and Beltway chatter. It’s about the people who live with the outcomes,” said Quentin James, host and political strategist. “PoliAlert talks about power in plain terms and meets people where they are. I’m glad to be doing that alongside Kenny and Nsé.”
Kenny Burns framed the launch as a long overdue meeting of two worlds. “This is where culture and politics finally sit at the same table,” he said. “We’re not talking down to anybody. We’re keeping it real about what’s happening and why it matters to us.”
Nsé Ufot, former executive director of the New Georgia Project, pointed to the appetite for something more direct than most political media offers. “People are tired of being talked at. They want the truth, and they want it straight,” she said. “That’s the whole point of PoliAlert. Nothing is bigger than the truth, and we’re going to prove that every week.”
The premiere streams today at 4:00 PM ET. Viewers can watch live on Instagram at @polialertcom and on YouTube at @polialert.
