After missing an All That reunion, fans and friends were quick to inquire about Amanda Bynes‘ whereabouts.
TMZ learned on Monday that Bynes was caught roaming in the streets of Los Angeles naked. It’s reported that she told a driver she was coming down from a psychiatric episode and also called the police on herself.
The former “Amanda Show” star was taken to a nearby police station to have her mental health examined. A mental health expert “determined she needed to be placed on a 5150 hold and remains in a facility’s care,” according to Page Six.
Her psychiatric episode happened nearly one year after being freed from her conservatorship.
Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell issued statements following her ’90s con absence over the weekend.
“I’ve just been praying for her,” Mitchell said amid Bynes’ absence. “It’s awesome to see she’s doing better. Which is great. We’re just continuing to pray for her on her journey, and it’s answered prayers that she’s doing a lot better.”
In January, Bynes said she was “really excited” to reunite with her teen costars.
