Princess and The Frog actress Anika Noni Rose and actor Jason Dirden revealed they tied the knot three months ago.
The newlywed couple said they had an intimate ceremony officiated by “Euphoria” actor Colman Domingo last year.
The two got married at the Paramour Estate in Los Angeles on Oct. 16, 2022, and said it took them eight weeks to plan it. Dirden told Brides that initially, they would wait a year, but their hectic schedules pushed their date up.
Rose wore a custom-made dress designed by London-based designer Gbemi Okunlola of Alonuko Bridal, inspired by the vision of “a rose coming into full bloom, but without being too fussy.”
Soooo, did a big something.
Your Princess has found her Prince.
@jasondirden & I are very happy.

It was a ceremony entrance of good music. The groom entered while Stevie Wonder’s “Knocks me off my feet” played in the background, and Rose was escorted down the aisle by her father as a live rendition of H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar’s “Best Part” played.
Dirden proposed in December 2021. The couple met while working on the 2014 broadway set of A Raisin in the Sun. However, they hid their relationship until after saying, “I do.”
“We were friends for a couple of years, actually,” Rose explained. “We both went off and did our own things and were disconnected for a while and then swung back.”
“It was the right moment for both of us to be open and available for the possibility of what we have now,” Dirden added.
