One place you don’t want to do any bad driving is in Georgia. Bears cornerback Tim Jennings has just found that out the hard way. The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office reports Jennings was arrested today on charges of speeding, reckless driving and driving under the influence.
Cops stopped Jennings when they spotted his white 2015 Mercedes traveling at 99 mph in a 65 mph zone and upon approaching the vehicle, noticed a strong odor of alcohol. I guess the club was going up on a Wednesday for the Chicago Baller. He must have gotten started on his turn up early, because Jennings was arrested, booked at 12:45 p.m and released on $2,711 bond, all before 4pm.
The Bears have already issued a statement saying, “We are aware of the reports regarding Tim Jennings’ arrest. We are currently gathering information to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the situation.”
