Issa Rae and the cast of “Insecure” will begin filming Season 4 in September, which means we’ll catch up with the girls soon.
The show creator and star revealed the update during her TCA panel on Wednesday. Rae confirmed that the show’s writers are putting the final touches on the season’s script and production is slated to begin in September.
In the meantime, fans will have to make do with the cast’s successful solo projects as Issa stays busy as an actress and producer, most recently starring alongside Marsai Martin and Regina Hall in “Little.” Jay Ellis (Lawrence) landed a role in the forthcoming Tom Cruise Sequel “Top Gun: Maverick” and Yvonne Orji (Molly) is set to appear in Rae and Robin Thede’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show.”
Fans can expect to see Season 4 in 2020.
