Kanye West vs J.Cole

J. Cole and Kanye West have been seemingly going tit for tat with each other ever since Cole’s 2016 “Lost Prophets,” a track in which many people claim the opening verse was about West. But, despite that and the most recent speculated jab at Kanye on Cole’s “Middle Child,” Mr. West has remained silent…until now.

A snippet of Pusha T’s track “What Would Meek Do?” from his latest album ‘Daytona’ has surfaced, and it features an unreleased Kanye verse, where Kanye can be heard directly addressing Cole and “that song” in the lyrics.

In the unreleased verse, Kanye says, “I am the Don of Vuitton. I am the Sean of Sean John. That’s the boss, n**ga… I’m too complex for ComplexCon. You heard Cole on that song He was tryna hate…”

The short clip leaves listeners to wonder what Kanye said after the J. Cole line; was it a diss or a mere acknowledgment that he heard “the song” and won’t respond? The clip of the verse was shared Wednesday on the unofficial Kanye’ West Archive YouTube page but was promptly removed.

What do you think Kanye was trying to say?
