In an attempt to protect Kanye West amid his mental health issues, wife Kim Kardashian-West will not allow Keeping Up With The Kardashians to film him or their children.
According to the TMZ, Kanye’s recent comments and tweets will not be included in the upcoming season, out of respect for the West Family’s privacy. Apparently, “Kim made the decision none of it would be used as a storyline on the show,” a move that sources from the production company confirmed. Kim does not want his mental health to be “exploited for ratings or good TV drama.”
Production has also been told not to film the couple’s kids during this time because Kim does not want them to see the footage in the future, Cosmopolitan reports.
However, unsurprisingly, TMZ confirmed that the Kardashians are still filming in general right now, but they’re going off “other storylines.”
The decision comes after Kim’s recent statement regarding her husband’s recent mental health issues that have gone viral.
“We as a society talk about giving grace to the issue of mental health as a whole; however, we should also give it to the individuals who are living with it in times when they need it the most,” Kim said. “I kindly ask that the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this. Thank you for those who have expressed concern for Kanye’s well being and for your understanding.”
Let us keep Kanye in our prayers.
