Lamar Odom is trying to his best to get sober, so he’s checked himself into rehab. According to E! News, the former Los Angeles Lakers player is seeking professional help at a facility in San Diego, California.
It’s been just over a year since Lamar Odom nearly died after overdosing at a brothel in Nevada. With the holidays right around the corner, it’s no question that Odom’s sobriety is a priority.
“It was his own decision. He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life,” a source shared with E! News. “He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety.”
Going to rehab is a major step. Kudos to Lamar for doing what he has to do to keep his health on track.
