Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohls, and other major retailers have dropped MyPillow because of the owner’s voter fraud claims.
MyPillow CEO, and Donald Trump supporter, Mike Lindell says his company’s products have been pulled from major retailers after repeated false claims of voter fraud during the presidential election. On Monday, Lindell told NBC Minnesota that HEB Stores, Wayfair, and Canada’s Today’s Shopping Choice channel have also dropped his products from its physical and online stores.
Lindell said in a Tuesday email to NBC News that “a group has attacked my vendors” and that retailers contacted him saying they threatened the stores with “a boycott if they don’t comply” by dropping his products. Today’s Shopping Choice confirmed it will no longer sell Lindell’s products on the channel, NBC News reports.
A Bed Bath & Beyond spokesperson said pulling Lindell’s products was economically in the best interest of the company. “We are continually improving our product assortment,” the retailer said. “As previously announced, we have been rationalizing our assortment to discontinue a number of underperforming items and brands. This includes the MyPillow product line.”
Three other vendors would not immediately respond to requests for comments, NBC News reports.
Lindell has taken to his more than 474,000 followers on Twitter and spewed false claims of voter fraud, voter machine fraud, and claimed that the election was rigged in favor of President-elect Joe Biden. All of the claims have been widely debunked.
Here are the pages of the machine voter fraud evidence that came out last week and the media including Twitter has tried to bury it! This is an attack on our country! pic.twitter.com/FhpNgNSda7
