Michael B. Jordan joins a list of iconic celebrities after receiving a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
On Wednesday, the 36-year-old actor was honored for the greatness he has brought to the industry through his multifaceted acting skills.
“I’m seeing so many people that I want to kind of get to and hug and connect with and show my appreciation,” Jordan said. “I want to give the love right back, you know? But then I’m also just taking a moment to just to be like, ‘Damn. OK, wow, that happened. I’m here!'”

He continued, “I’m extremely humbled and grateful to be here…I know it’s not a small achievement. It’s not lost on me how special this moment is and what this represents to our community, so from the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you. I didn’t think it would hit me this much, but as it all started to come together and we start to see it and reality starts to set in, the importance [and] the weight of the moment… you really realize it.”
The event comes just two days before the release of “Creed III,” in which Jordan reprises his role as heavyweight boxing champion Adonis Creed. Jordan’s “Creed III” co-star Jonathan Majors was also in attendance and celebrated his friend with heartfelt words.
“I see that look in your eyes, we’ve all witnessed it, that’s what this moment is. Today, brother, you go from man to god,” Majors said. “You sit among Olympians. I honor you, I love you and we are all so proud to call you our son, our brother, but chiefly, I am extremely honored to call you my friend. No man on the planet I know deserves it more. I love you to the moon and back.”
