Mother Accused of Throwing Her Two Young Children Out of Second-Story Window In NY

A mother in New York City is accused of throwing her two young children out of an apartment building window before later jumping out herself.

According to People, the 24-year-old woman, who has not been identified, reportedly threw her 1-month-old baby girl and her 2-year-old son out of the second-floor window of an apartment building in Brooklyn over the weekend.

Authorities received reports of serious injuries before they arrived at the Rockaway Parkway building around 11:24 am.

The woman allegedly threw the newborn baby out of the window first before throwing the toddler out next. She then reportedly jumped out of the window herself. Cops said both children and the woman were naked.

All three were brought to a nearby hospital where the baby girl was listed as being in critical condition, while the woman and toddler were said to be in “stable” condition.
