The third annual Revolt Music Conference was held in Miami and as always, Diddy brought out the best of the best. This year the conference concluded with a gala in honor of none other than Nasir Jones, or as hip hop aficionados call him, Nas.
This year, Nas was the recipient of the 2016 Jimmy Iovine Icon Award, which is presented to an industry leader who has had a lasting impact and unique influence on music. REVOLT Chairman Sean “Diddy” Combs presented the ever-deserving hip hop pioneer with the award.

The evening featured special performances by Kehlani and Bibi Bourelly , a surprise appearance  by Nas’ daughter Destiny Jones, and a heartfelt speech from Nas’ cousin Yara Shahidi.

In his acceptance speech, Nas said, “It’s only befitting I receive a ‘REVOLT’ award.’ Which makes sense, since if anyone is known for going against the grain, it’s Nas.

Additional attendees of note included Nas’ good friend DMX, Busta Rhymes, Andre Harrell (REVOLT Vice Chairman and Chair of the REVOLT Music Conference), Keon Hardemon (Attorney & Miami City Commission Chairman) and more.

Check out a few photos from the gala below.
