R.Kelly’s Former Employees Turn In Over 20 Sex Tapes With Underage Girls To The Feds

R.Kelly was arrested on Thursday and faces a 13-count indictment out of federal court in Chicago and five additional charges out of New York, according to court documents, with charges including racketeering, forced labor and sexually exploiting children.

While the R&B singer is behind bars, former employees and enablers have handed over more than 20 videos of Kelly with underage girls, according to the attorney for multiple alleged victims.

According to CNN, prosecutors claim Kelly had been trying to recover videotapes of himself having sex with underage girls since 2001. The indictment also accuses Kelly of forcing his team to take polygraph tests to prove they didn’t have the “missing” tapes. With the help of his former business manager Derrel McDavid, prosecutors say Kelly also paid the family of one underage girl for over a decade and even gifted them a Yukon Denali SUV to keep their sexual relationship a secret.

Homeland Security Special Agent-in-Charge Angel Melendez says Kelly used his “stardom” to prey on young girls, while his team facilitated his sexual acts for two decades.

”R. Kelly’s Enterprise was not only engaged in music; as alleged, for two decades the enterprise at the direction of R. Kelly preyed upon young women and teenagers whose dreams of meeting a superstar, soon turned into a nightmare of rape, child pornography, and forced labor. The musician turned predator allegedly used his stardom to coax some victims into nefarious sex acts while certain members of his enterprise calculatingly facilitated the aberrant conduct,” Melendez said in a statement.
