A 48-year-old Texas man is accused of hiding in a shower to ambush and kill his wife, what’s more disturbing is the YouTube video he posted moments after doing so, apologizing to his children.
Trent Paschal faces murder charges for killing his 30-year-old wife, Savannah Paschal on Wednesday in the couple’s La Marque home, PEOPLE reports.
Court documents obtained by the outlet the husband came out of the master bathroom shower and shot her twice, authorities discovered her lying in the master bedroom bleeding from her abdomen area.
Savannah returned to the home with her mother, who was able to run to a nearby neighbor’s house for help.
The surviving mother told police that he emerged from the shower, luckily, she was able to shut the bathroom door on Trent and ran out of the house.

“Trent stated that he was going to shoot both her and Savannah,” reads the affidavit. ”
After the shooting the husband left the scene, that is when the victim’s mother went back to the house to try to save her daughter. Savannah was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Trent was apprehended by police in Houston, but not without a struggle, he was shot by an officer and transported to the hospital.
A neighbor was able to capture Trent on film confessing to murdering his wife, and now his YouTube post to his young children is making its rounds on the internet. In the video he repeatedly tells his daughter he loves her and accuses his wife of cheating on him.
At the time of the report, Trent remained in the hospital, his injuries are unknown.
