You probably caught Tracy McGrady at the judge’s table during the NBA All Star slam dunk contest. Little did you know, the former hoop star had just taken on a new gig with ESPN.Â
It was announced Monday that the seven-time All Star will join ESPN as an NBA analyst. McGrady will also appear regularly on “The Jump,” an afternoon telecast debuting Thursday with Rachel Nichols. In his new role as analyst, you can also expect to see McGrady making appearances on other ESPN programs, such as SportsCenter.Â
Tracy McGrady retired from the NBA as a member of the San Antonio Spurs in 2013. He’s appeared on ESPN here and there in the past. It’s awesome that he’s finally become a permanent fixture at the network.Â
