Wendy Williams may be doing just fine after the ending of her talk show; it’s reported she’s moving to the world of podcasts.Â
The Wendy Williams Show ended last week, and Wendy Williams was nowhere in sight on the show’s exit. Though her montage left viewers with some nostalgia, it also left them wanting more. Well, the good news is that she is moving on to the next big digital medium, podcasts, Extra reports.
In a teaser video, Billy Bush speaks on the phone with the former show host and tells the audience she is “heading off into the world of podcasts, with iTunes.”Â
Williams did receive multiple offers for podcasts after the show’s ending was announced, but there hasn’t been any official word on where she was going until the leaked teaser video.Â
Sherri Shepherd closed out the series finale by commending Wendy on all of her efforts and calling her the “Queen of all Media.”Â
“On behalf of all of the guest hosts, I want to say thank you so much to all of the loyal Wendy watchers for making this show a success. And most of all, we have to thank you, Wendy Williams,” she said.Â
“f you think about it, Wendy Williams changed daytime talk with her unique take on ‘Hot Topics,’ her one-of-a-kind celebrity interviews, the signature ‘Ask Wendy’ segments, and, of course, her famous, ‘How you doin’?’ Absolutely. And I want to say, Miss Wendy, you are an icon, and you are loved by so many. So many.”Â
Shepherd will host her show this fall, which will take the place of Wendy’s old show.Â
