Young Thug is stirring the pot again. The Atlanta rapper posted a direct but mysterious tweet Thursday night: “U f**king rat representer shut up.”
This came after a leaked verse surfaced with Thugger calling out Yak Gotti and Gunna: “Yak Gotti tricked me for years I ain’t know he was telling. Only reason I f**ked with you, Gunna, it was ’cause of Troup.”
Yak Gotti’s lawyer, Douglas Weinstein, fired back online: “Yak did not say a single thing against Jeff in his interviews with the cops.” He claimed Yak had the chance to cooperate but didn’t, adding prosecutors were trying to divide the YSL crew.
Both Yak and Gunna accepted plea deals, though Gunna clarified in 2022, “I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated.”
In a GQ interview earlier this year, Thug was asked about Gunna. “I don’t know,” was all he said.
And with another tweet last month that read, “If u a rapper and u rat, u gotta just go gospel twin,” it’s clear Young Thug still has some things to get off his chest.
