Another record just fell, and this one puts the entire rap game on notice. NBA YoungBoy has officially become the most certified rapper of all time, locking in a historic win that separates him from every name before him.
The Recording Industry Association of America confirmed the milestone on January 16, announcing that YoungBoy now holds 126 RIAA-certified titles. No rapper has reached that number. The achievement arrived the same day he released his new album “Slime Cry,” turning release day into a full victory lap.
The album drop followed a familiar YoungBoy rollout. He teased the project online, wiped the post, then quietly delivered. “Slime Cry” follows a heavy 2025 output that included “MASA,” “More Leaks,” and “Deshawn.” The project was originally planned for late November before being pushed back after YoungBoy joked that he forgot about it.
That same tour helped cement his dominance. Touring data shows the run sold about 500,000 tickets across 42 U.S. dates and brought in more than $70 million. That puts YoungBoy in elite company with Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake.
From relentless releases to sold-out arenas, YoungBoy is no longer chasing history. He is writing it in real time.
