Robyn Dixon surprised Bravo fans during BravoCon 2025 when she finally addressed the ongoing Eminem lawsuit over the Reasonably Shady podcast trademark.

After months of silence, Robyn gave one of her clearest updates since the legal fight began.
“He’s still being shady,” she joked. “We’re still fighting the lawsuit. We’re going to win. Isn’t it crazy that one day you get an email saying Marshall Mathers is suing you?”

Robyn’s comments reignited interest in a case that began in 2023 when she and Gizelle Bryant filed to trademark the name of their show, Reasonably Shady. Eminem’s legal team moved quickly. They argued that the title could make the public believe the podcast was connected to Slim Shady or endorsed by him.

Robyn and Gizelle pushed back. They said Eminem’s protective order request was unnecessary and insisted any plaintiff should be willing to answer questions under oath. Fans reacted strongly at BravoCon, with many expressing support for the women as they continue the battle.

Eminem has a long history of aggressively protecting his Shady trademarks. Last year, he sued an Australian swimwear brand called Swim Shady, accusing it of causing brand confusion. His legal team claimed the name suggested a false connection to Slim Shady, similar to their argument in the Reasonably Shady trademark opposition.

While the podcast dispute remains active, the rapper has also been working on a major hometown partnership. The Detroit Lions recently announced a collaboration with Eminem and longtime manager Paul Rosenberg. Shady Records will oversee Detroit’s annual Thanksgiving halftime shows through 2027.

“It’s an honor to join the Lions and be part of the biggest tradition in Detroit sports,” Rosenberg said. “We want to deliver unforgettable shows for fans in the stadium and the millions watching at home.”

Whether the Reasonably Shady trademark fight will affect Eminem’s holiday production work isn’t clear. But Robyn’s new BravoCon comments confirm the case is still alive, and more updates are expected as both sides continue to push forward.
