What looked like a regular link-up between Sammie and Ray J quickly shifted into something else, and Sammie says the moment it stopped feeling like jokes, he reacted.

He first shared his side in an Instagram post, writing, “He started it, then I finished it. But that’s my brother and ima pull up on him once he heals. His back hurts lol. No more Kettle One for him. I thought he was joking till it wasn’t funny anymore.”
When he later went live, Sammie painted a clearer picture of how the energy changed. He described Ray J’s behavior as off, saying the conversation started leaning into strange territory that didn’t land as playful.
“He was talking weird. I’m like, ‘Okay, you’re a demon. I’m an angel. It’s cool.’ You feel what I’m saying? … So he’s like, ‘Oh, I’m a demon. You’re not a demon. You’re a good boy.’ Just talking weird.”
The issue, according to Sammie, wasn’t just what was said, but how it kept going even after he tried to shut it down.
“And that was weird when he kept saying weird s**t… I’m like, ‘Why do you want to put me to sleep and then want me to sleep with you?…Stop saying it.'”
As tensions built, others in the room reportedly tried to keep things from escalating, but Sammie said he felt the situation was going too far to ignore.
“So now we’re face to face… And he was like, ‘Sammie, I’m not playing.’ He pushed my chest again… He was like, ‘Yeah, you feel it? You feel the force?'”
That second push is what he says triggered his response.
“And once he pushed me, I don’t really know how I threw him from the kitchen all the way into Melinda’s dining room… And you know, I had to do what I had to do.”
Despite how intense it got, Sammie made it clear the situation didn’t damage their relationship long term. He shared that they spoke afterward, and Ray J even checked to make sure he got home safely.
