Sherri Shepard’s Ex-Husband Wants More Child Support Money After Getting More Custody of Their Son

Now that Sherri Shepard’s ex-husband is getting more time with their son, he’s asking for more child support money.

It’s been a year since Shepard’s former husband Jeff Tarpley filed documents seeking equal custody of their 12-year-old. The two were married nine years prior to their divorce.

After a December ruling, Tarpley left the court with more custody of their son. Now he has custody of Jeffrey every 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends of the month, every Tuesday and Thursday, in addition to times when Shepherd is out of town, according to The Blast.

Originally, Shepard was only paying Tarpley $131 a month in child support. After he mentioned her annual income of $1.2 million defeats his $2,400 a month, he’s decided to try to get more. He’ll also be wanting $25,608.40 to cover his attorney fees. All decisions will be made in May.
