A years-long legal dispute involving Swae Lee has come to a quiet but decisive end after both parties reached a confidential settlement, according to court filings.
The rapper informed a Florida judge that a private agreement had been finalized, effectively resolving all outstanding issues tied to a paternity claim involving a 3-year-old child. The case, which had remained largely inactive in recent months, now closes without a public trial or formal ruling on the allegations.
Court documents show that Swae Lee did not admit or deny the claims brought against him, a legal position that leaves the original accusations unproven while still allowing both sides to move forward.
The dispute began in 2023 when Marla Naranjo filed a petition seeking to establish the rapper as the biological father of her son, Karter Naranjo. In her initial complaint, she alleged that Swae had not “been involved in the child’s life at all” and claimed his career demands made him “unable to provide a stable environment.”
Naranjo also referenced an alleged “history of misconduct,” stating it would be addressed later in court proceedings. Alongside her claims, she sought primary custody and requested monthly child support, asserting that the child was “entitled to a share” of the rapper’s financial success.
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, the case saw little public movement after August 2025, when Swae first indicated that settlement discussions were underway.
Swae Lee, known for balancing a high-profile music career with a growing family, is already a father to two other children from previous relationships.
With the matter now settled privately, the details of the agreement remain sealed, closing the chapter without further public scrutiny.
