Canceled Shows
On Oct. 9, four R&B Tour dates were canceled: Oct. 17 in Baltimore, Oct. 24 in Cincinnati, Oct. 29 in Columbia, South Carolina, and Oct. 31 in Indianapolis. The email sent to ticketholders pointed to the “health and well-being of the touring party and crew.” No makeup dates have been announced.
Ticketmaster says refunds go back automatically to the original payment method within 14 to 21 days, including for transferred tickets.
The cancellations came weeks before Chris Brown’s scheduled Oct. 26 sentencing at Southwark Crown Court in London, after he pleaded guilty to affray in a 2023 nightclub case. Neither Live Nation nor the venues have linked the canceled shows to his case.
How the Tour Started
Two of R&B’s biggest names, Usher and Chris Brown, finally shared the same stage on the road this year.
When Live Nation announced the tour in April, it was a 33 date run starting June 26 in Denver. As demand grew, more dates were added, including multiple nights in Atlanta, Los Angeles and Miami and a second Tampa show, stretching the tour into mid December.

Both artists came into this run with serious momentum. Usher’s Past, Present, Future tour sold over 1.1 million tickets with 62 sold out shows, while Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX World Tour grossed nearly $300 million and pulled in 2 million fans worldwide.
The tour also includes a giveback component, partnering with Global Citizen to donate $1 from every ticket sold toward expanding access to education around the world.
