Yung Miami had some things to get off her chest when she came face to face with radio personality Lore’l during her recent press tour. While visiting The Baller Alert Show, the rapper opened up about confronting The Morning Hustle host over previous commentary that she felt had become personal.

The conversation came during Miami’s promotional run for her debut solo album, “Watch Dis,” which was released October 23.“I did a radio interview earlier with this lady that talks [expletive] about me every chance she get on the radio,” Miami told The Baller Alert Show hosts.
Although Miami acknowledged how quickly public opinion can change, she made it clear that she wasn’t interested in sitting through an interview without addressing the issue.
“They hate you tomorrow, and they love you again,” she said.
Still, Miami wasn’t about to pretend she hadn’t heard the remarks.
“Soon as I got there, I put it on the floor.”
The confrontation happened during her appearance on The Morning Hustle, where Lore’l was among the hosts interviewing the Florida rapper about her solo debut album.
As the conversation turned toward the criticism women receive in the music industry, Miami redirected the question toward Lore’l herself.
“Why you was coming at me, as a female?” Miami asked.
The question caught the radio host in a position where she had to address her previous commentary directly rather than continue with the planned interview.
According to The Morning Hustle exchange, Lore’l explained that discussing entertainment news and offering opinions about celebrities are part of her responsibilities as a radio personality. She maintained that her previous remarks about Miami were not intended as a personal attack.
However, Miami wasn’t convinced.
“It feel personal,” she responded.
The tension appeared to stem from comments Lore’l made after Miami withdrew from BossMan Dlow’s Motion Party Tour in July.
Lore’l previously questioned Miami’s decision to leave the tour and suggested that the former City Girls member believed she was “above the program.”
During that earlier radio discussion, Lore’l also made a remark about the City Girls hit “Act Up” and whether it was still generating money.
Those comments apparently stuck with Miami, who explained during The Morning Hustle interview that she had heard the discussion and even considered calling the station when it happened.
Miami previously explained that her decision to leave BossMan Dlow’s tour came from needing to focus on completing her solo album. At the time, she cited recording deadlines and said she needed to concentrate on getting the project finished.
BossMan Dlow’s team later announced that the tour was being postponed following what it described as Miami’s last minute departure.
During their face to face conversation, Lore’l defended her right to critique artists and their professional decisions. Miami, meanwhile, questioned why the commentary seemed consistently negative whenever her name came up.
The exchange unfolded just days before Miami released “Watch Dis,” her first full studio album since embarking on a solo career following the City Girls’ split.
The 21-track project arrived October 23 through Uptown Records, featuring appearances from Travis Scott, Summer Walker, Quavo, Bryson Tiller, Rick Ross, Trina, Trick Daddy, and others.
