Lil Wayne’s latest legal clash took another sharp turn after new court filings revealed explosive claims about what went down during a tense deposition attempt.
According to documents filed on Wednesday, December 3, by lawyers for Andrew Williams, the rapper’s former personal assistant, the conflict erupted when Lil Wayne arrived for a scheduled June 18 deposition. Attorney Omar Taylor alleged that Wayne showed up “late and agitated with his entourage,” describing his demeanor as “hostile.” The filing claims the rapper quickly escalated the situation, directing profanity and racial slurs at Taylor.
The exchange allegedly intensified when Wayne stood up, leaned across the table and shouted, “Do you know who I am? WHO the f**k IS YOU” and “I’M THE GUY! I’M THE GUY!” Taylor also stated that Wayne called for his bodyguard, Jax, saying the move was intended as intimidation. The deposition ended abruptly with Wayne reportedly declaring, “Man, we out!”
A transcript included in the filing recounts an earlier moment when Wayne allegedly entered the room and said, “The f**k you looking at n***a,” prompting Taylor to reply, “I’m looking at you! You have a problem with people looking at you?”
Wayne later fired back publicly in a December 4 response, denying he caused the disruption and accusing Taylor of “bullying, taunting, physical threats,” arguing the lawyer should not be physically present at future depositions.
A judge has not yet ruled on Wayne’s request for a protective order. Williams originally sued the rapper in 2022, alleging assault and related claims stemming from a separate private plane incident.
