Celina Powell is looking back at one of the biggest controversies attached to her name and admitting she wishes she had handled it differently. During a recent livestream with Blueface, Powell said she regrets publicly exposing Snoop Dogg over their alleged sexual relationship, claiming her decision came after she became angry about something she now considers small. The Snoop Dogg allegations remain disputed, and Powell’s latest comments do not independently establish that an affair occurred.

Blueface asked Powell whether she regretted anything from her past, prompting her to answer, “I regret exposing some people.” When pressed about who she had in mind, Powell identified Snoop Dogg and explained that her frustration allegedly started after a transportation issue.“Because he didn’t organize my ride for me,” she said. Powell also pushed back when Blueface asked whether she considered herself to have been in a relationship with Snoop. “I mean, I can’t be in a relationship with a married man,” she responded.
What makes Powell’s latest explanation notable is that it closely matches the story she gave when the Snoop Dogg allegations first exploded online in 2018.
In a July 2018 interview with HollywoodLife, Powell claimed she had been spending time with Snoop in Los Angeles before an encounter ended with her being dropped off and left to arrange her own transportation. Powell said at the time, “I wasn’t even going to put him on blast until he did me wrong.” She alleged that the dispute escalated after she had difficulty arranging an Uber and became angry about how she was treated.
Powell’s newest comments therefore add context to a story she has been telling for years. Rather than describing the public exposure as something she always intended to do, she is again claiming that anger over the ride situation triggered her decision to take the allegations public.
When the accusations surfaced in 2018, Powell posted what she described as messages, FaceTime screenshots, and other communications involving Snoop. Powell claimed she had been intimate with the rapper and circulated material that she said supported her story. Powell had previously admitted making a false pregnancy claim involving Offset, an important piece of context when assessing her allegations.
Snoop publicly pushed back against the controversy at the time by promoting a project titled “Clout Chasers.” Snoop described the planned series as an effort to examine people seeking attention by associating themselves with celebrities.
This is also not the first time Powell has publicly expressed remorse over how she handled the Snoop situation. In 2022, Powell discussed the alleged encounter during an appearance on the We In Miami Podcast and admitted, “I feel really bad. I shouldn’t have done all that to him.”
Her latest statement carries added weight because of the longevity of Snoop and Shante Broadus’ marriage. In June 2026, the couple celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary after marrying on June 14, 1997. The two met as teenagers, share three children, and have remained publicly together through decades of Snoop’s career.
Their marriage has survived serious strain before. Snoop filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court in May 2004, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was never completed. Snoop and Shante reconciled and renewed their vows in 2008.
Powell’s newest reflection does not resolve the Snoop Dogg allegations. Snoop has not publicly confirmed Powell’s account.
