Big Boss Vette is thanking fans for their massive display of support and explaining why she kept her cancer battle private from the world.

Just days after ringing the hospital victory bell and celebrating being officially cancer-free, the St. Louis rapper shared an emotional message alongside a photo revealing herself without hair during treatment.

“Hey Cousins! Firstly thank you all SOOOOOO much for the love and support! I see every post, video and shoutout and it’s truly bringing tears to my eyes from all of the love!” Vette wrote.

Please bear with me… I’m kicking off this healing journey as I get myself back right. I have SO much to… pic.twitter.com/kLKhUK1jDL

The “Pretty Girls Walk” star explained that while she documented every step of her journey, she made a conscious choice to fight quietly so she could heal and survive without added pressure or expectations.

“Please bear with me… I’m kicking off this healing journey as I get myself back right. I have SO much to share with yall!” she continued. “Of course, you know I documented EVERYTHING! I had to fight in private to make it to the other side, but I can’t wait to share and hopefully help anyone who may be going through something similar. I love yall.”

Her words add deeper emotional context to the moment fans recently witnessed when she rang the victory bell, officially marking the end of her cancer treatment. For many, it was shocking news. For Vette, it was the result of months spent choosing peace, faith, and focus behind the scenes.
