Trouble seems to follow Kodak Black’s inner circle, as the mother of his eldest child is back behind bars. Jammiah Catera Broomfield was arrested this week by Fort Lauderdale police on a heavy list of charges, including drug trafficking.
According to online jail records, Broomfield was booked into the Paul Rein Detention Facility on Tuesday. The charges stacked against her include trafficking in methamphetamine, resisting an officer without violence, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and a probation violation. At the time of this latest run-in, the singer-songwriter was already out on bond and awaiting trial for a previous grand theft charge.
The arrest went down after Fort Lauderdale detectives spotted Broomfield’s vehicle, which they recognized from a prior incident where the car had allegedly fled from officers. When police attempted a traffic stop on Tuesday, Broomfield reportedly drove erratically in an attempt to lose them. The chase eventually turned into a foot pursuit after she ditched the car and ran. Detectives caught up with her on Northwest 25th Way, right across the street from Dillard High School, where she was taken into custody.
Kodak Black didn’t stay silent for long, taking to Instagram to address the news and defend his role as a co-parent. He shared screenshots showing him sending over $45,000 to Broomfield, proving he keeps her pockets full regardless of their personal status.
“SMH FREE MY BM AGAIN! I POSTED THAT SCREENSHOT OF THE RANDOM ‘EXTRA’ MONEY I JUST SENT THEY A** ‘ONLY’ TO THINK AHEAD OF THE TROLLING SHE GET, SIMPLY DUE TO ME BEING A GREAT FATHER AND ALWAYS SETTING THE EXAMPLE REGARDLESS IF ITS INTIMACY OR NOT !!! EVEN WHEN MY BM’zz HATE ME REAL BAD I STEP,” the rapper wrote on his Instagram Story.

As of now, Broomfield remains in custody. Records show she is being held on a warrant out of Palm Beach County, making it unlikely she’ll be heading home anytime soon.
