Law enforcement says newly reviewed surveillance footage is central to the case against boxing star Gervonta Davis, detailing what officers describe as a violent confrontation with a woman inside a Miami-area gentlemen’s club last fall.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by TMZ, the incident was recorded on security cameras inside Tootsie’s Cabaret around 4:15 a.m. on October 27, 2025. Officers wrote that the video shows Davis approaching the woman and grabbing her by the hair before forcefully walking her toward a stairwell.
The warrant states that the footage then captures Davis “pushing and forcing” the woman down the stairs. Police say she attempted to stop him by holding onto the railing, but he continued directing her toward a doorway.
Investigators describe additional angles from the club that allegedly show Davis grabbing the woman by her hoodie and pulling her in different directions. Another clip is said to depict him holding her by the back of her neck while leading her through an empty area of the venue. The final portion of the video reportedly shows the pair entering a garage, where the woman then runs away.
Officers said they spoke with two possible witnesses. One told police there had been a prior incident in which Davis grabbed the same woman by the neck at a Miami Beach club, though no further details were included in the warrant.
Police also noted the footage aligns with the woman’s statement given two days later at the Miami Gardens Police Department. She told officers she was working in the VIP section when the alleged assault occurred and claimed Davis told her, “You think that I would not find you,” while accusing her of ignoring him as their relationship ended.
The woman said she had known Davis since 2022, warned him they were on camera, and later sought medical care. Authorities announced on January 14 that Davis was wanted on charges of battery, false imprisonment, and attempted kidnapping. His bond was set at $16,000.
