Omarion Admits He Misses Solange After Confirming Their Brief Teenage Romance [Video]

Omarion recently shared a previously unconfirmed chapter of his early career, revealing that he and Solange were romantically involved as teenagers.

The discussion took place on a new episode of Funny Marco’s “Open Thoughts,” where the host asked the members of B2K to talk about their first celebrity crushes.

After Lil Fizz mentioned trying to pursue Ashanti, Omarion disclosed the brief relationship with Solange, a revelation that longtime fans had previously speculated about.

He explained, “We used to date. Destiny’s Child invited us to our first overseas tour… B2K. And, um yeah, me and Solange, we ended up being boyfriend and girlfriend for that little short period of that tour.”

Omarion also recalled a meaningful gift from Solange, describing that she gave him “rocks,” which he interpreted as crystals or healing stones. He reflected on the depth of her personality, saying, “She was deep.”

When asked if he missed her, Omarion admitted that he did and described her as “awesome,” while acknowledging that time and circumstances had moved both of them forward.

Solange herself had acknowledged the teenage romance in 2015.

In a throwback Instagram post that has since been deleted, she shared a photo of them together and captioned it, “Am I trolling, or nah? #tbt to when me and @1Omarion were lil’ teenage boo’s, but used to have hide it because I was scared dem B2K fans would try to cut me, lol.”

The post, which was highlighted by The Huffington Post, reminded fans of the intensity of B2K fandom during the early 2000s.

Their friendship continued into adulthood, with Solange appearing as the romantic interest in Omarion’s 2006 music video for “Ice Box,” demonstrating that their bond remained intact even after their teenage romance had ended.
