Atlanta’s hip-hop scene has been on fire recently, but 21 Savage is trying to calm things down. On his new album, he asks, “What Happened To the Streets?,” and that question hit home with some of the biggest names in rap. However, Blueface has a few words for 21’s new peace movement.

Young Thug was first to respond, saying “f**k the streets.” With other rappers following suit. Pooh Shiesty, YFN Lucci, G Herbo, and Big30 all hopped on the same vibe. Shiesty added the word “traumatized” on his Instagram Story while tagging 21 Savage, while YFN Lucci and G Herbo posted similar messages on Twitter.

The conversation quickly blew up, showing how serious the discussion about street life and trauma had become. Even with all the posts, 21 Savage made it clear he’s not trying to start beef. He explained his take, saying, “When I say f the streets I’m talking about the part that gave me trauma and made me can’t sleep at night if you ain’t tired of that part you ain’t been through it!”

Not everyone agreed. California rapper Blueface strongly pushed back.

Blue wrote on Twitter, “I love the streets,” and added, “You square a** n***as should have never jumped off the curb smh.” He then shaded the rappers, claiming they were only hopping on the wave to appease 21 Savage.

“Next time say f**k yo street lol I’m not shaking none of you n***as hands back stage no more I never thought I’d see the day n***as saying f**k the streets for a 21 Savage feature..f**k the industry!”

But instead of letting it turn into chaos, 21 Savage is stepping in to squash tension, especially among Atlanta rappers. He’s keeping the conversation focused on trauma, reflection, and growth instead of letting it spiral into fights online.
